Lisa-Ann Wallace - with experience and success in all three divisions of NCAA softball Lisa –Ann was hired as the softball coach for Colby
College in 2016. Wallace most recently was an assistant coach at the University of New Mexico since 2013. She was the head coach at
Division I Bryant University from 2008 to 2013. She started at Bryant in 2000 when the program was Division II and successfully transitioned
the program to Division I. Wallace also was head coach at Division III Fitchburg State University from 1995 to 2000.
Sarah Jamo - Jamo is in her 5th year as the head coach at USM. A two-time (2005, 2006) all-conference first team and an all-rookie team
(2003) selection while at UMaine, Jamo finished her decorated career with the Black Bears as their all-time leader in strikeouts and wins in a
season (2006). Helping lead the Black Bears to the 2004 America East conference championship. Sarah has steadily improved the USM
program. Under her guidance the 2017 season brought about 15 wins, the opening of a brand new beautiful stadium and increased
excitement for the future of USM softball.
Kat McKay – Kat is entering her second year at the head coach for the University of Maine at Farmington. Prior to coaching at UMF she was
the varsity HS coach at Poland HS and St. Dominic Academy.
Lynn Coutts- Coutts has been committed to high school softball as she served as President of the Maine High School Softball Coaches
Association from 2010-11. Coutts shined as a player for the Black Bears as she was a member of the Black Bear pitching staff from 1983-87.
Coutts led the team to the 1987 ECAC Championship and also captained the Black Bears from 1985-87. At the time of her graduation, Coutts
held the school-records for most innings pitched in a season (183), and career (544.3), most strikeouts in a season (152), and career (318),
and most victories in a season (18) and career (41). She was named a Northeast All-American in 1987 and was inducted into the University of
Maine Hall of Fame in 1993. Lynn served as an assistant coach for the Black Bears from 1990-1994, was head coach from 2011-2014 and is
now currently in her 3
year as the pitching coach while serving as the Senior Associate Athletic Director.
